5. At this time if you wish to polish the cake, simply apply small
pressure to push down the Bravo Tamper till it hits the compacted coffee
puck and turn the handle clockwise and counterclockwise in a quick
motion. At this time you will push only against the lower spring. It’s a
very light push.
Done, the cake is perfectly compacted and leveled.
Setting the pressure of the tamping
Setting the pressure can be done by altering the position of the black
Allen bolt located inside the screw cap, on the upper part of the Bravo
Tamper. It can be adjusted anywhere from 26lbs to 37lbs. Originally, it
comes with a pressure of approximately 34lbs.
