Maintenance and care
Travel cot can be cleaned by sponging with warm water and a mild detergent. A mild disin-
fectant may be used.
Never clean with abrasive, ammonia based, bleach based or spirit type cleaners.
Erecting the travel cot
Unzip the storage bag and remove the travel cot ( fig.1).
Unfasten the Velcro
®
tabs and remove the outer mattress then spread the feet apart ( fig.2,3,4).
Locate the middle hinge mechanism under the material on the middle of the top rail. Lift the rail
until both joints lock the rail horizontally, ensure both sides of the mechanism is engaged by
pushing the rail down slightly ( fig.5,6,7).
Repeat this procedure with the three remaining top rails.
When all four sides are locked into place slowly push the centre of the travel cot downwards
until the bottom of the frame locks in position ( fig.8).
Place the mattress in the centre of the travel cot ( fig.9).
Feed the Velcro
®
straps through the slots in the base of the travel cot and secure underneath.
Repeat the same procedure on the other end of the mattress ( fig.10).
To remove the mattress from the travel cot reverse the procedures above.
Assembling the second level bassinette (if in set)
The bassinette has two sets of support bars that require assembly. Feed each end of the sup-
port bar into the material tubes on the bassinette. Stretch the material slightly so that the tubes
can be fixed together at a slight angle ( fig.11,12,13).
Prior to fitting of bassinette fabric, ensure that the mattress is removed from the travel cot.
Place the bassinette inside the travel cot and fix it onto the 4 sides using the plastic hooks
( fig.14).
Place the mattress in the bassinette.
To remove the bassinette reverse the procedure above.
WARNING: Do not use the bassinette when the child can sit or kneel or pull itself up.
Folding the travel cot
Before closing the travel cot remove mattress and bassinette (if fitted) ( fig.15).
Push down the middle lock part with one hand and with the other hand pull onto the red bet
until you hear a click to unlock this part for folding
(fig.16).
Balance the travel cot holding one corner when moving to the next step.
In the centre of each top rail, within the fabric, is a locking catch. Grasp the middle of the top
rail on one long side and feel for the button located under each symbol. Grasp the bar with your
hand and raise upwards slightly whilst pushing the button. When the button goes in, push the
bar down slowly whilst still holding the button in ( fig.17,18).
Repeat on the other long top rail and the two shorter rails. Ensure all rails have disengaged.
Note: The buttons will not operate until you have raised the centre of the base.
Push all 4 feet together.
Packing the travel cot
With the travel cot closed, place it on the mattress.
Wrap the mattress around the travel cot and fasten the Velcro
®
straps.
