4-2-3. Settings for Adobe Photoshop
Color settings:
(1) Select [ Edit ] > [ Color Settings ] menu. The Color Settings window appears.
(2) Make Color settings as follows, and then click “OK".
Advanced Mode: Check
Working Spaces: RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2.1
CMYK: U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 / Europe ISO Coated FOGRA27
Conversion Options/ Intent: Relative Colorimetric
<Important!>
GT-3 is an RGB printer. Make the artwork in RGB mode because CMYK artwork is printed, colors e.g. black,
yellow and purple turn vague and dull. Convert to RGB in sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile Color space and improve
the Color saturation: select [ Image ] > [ Arrangements ] to select the proper menu. Or use Color Processing in
Printer Driver (see "4-3-12. Selecting the Color Processing for increasing the vividness").
Photoshop CS, the dialog is not exactly equal with CS2/CS3/CS4/CS5 but the settings are the same.
