. Checking the needle
Always check that the tip of the needle is not broken
and also the needle is not bent before starting sewing.

. Cleaning the length feed plate
Clean the length feed plate (1) if foreign materials
such as shavings start getting onto the material.
1. Loosen the two bolts (2), and then remove the
length feed plate (1).
2. Clean the underside of the length feed plate (1) and
the needle plate (3).
