4-5-3. Thread take-up spring height
Loosen the set screw (1), and turn the entire thread
tension adjuster to adjust the thread take-up spring height
to between 4 - 6 mm in accordance with the material to be
sewn.
4-5-4. Thread take-up spring tension
Turn the thread tension stud (1) to adjust the thread
take-up spring tension to between approximately 0.1 - 0.2
N in accordance with the material to be sewn.
4-5-5. Adjusting arm thread guide
The standard position of arm thread guide (1) is when the
screw (2) is aligned with the index mark.
The standard position for the arm thread guide (3) is when
the clearance between it and the screw (4) is 0.5 mm as
shown in the illustration.
