4.1.2 Base Cover (R)
1) Remove the set screws BT4X8 (2 pcs.) from the base cover (R).
2) Remove the base cover (R) from the base.
Note:
If the optional lower tray unit is fitted, it will be necessary to remove the lower tray clamp
screw and locking bar to release the base cover (R).

PRECAUTION
• When assembling the base cover, insert the leading edge of the base cover (R) into
the hook provided at the bottom (left and right) of the base plate.
• Ensure that projecting part ( ) of the base cover (R) goes into the hole in the base
plate bottom.
4.1.3 Registration Clutch (RECL)
1) Remove the connector (1 pc.) from the IOD2 PCB.
2) Remove the outer plastic C ring from the shaft.
3) Pull out the registration clutch from the shaft.
4.1.4 Fuser Clutch (FUCL)
1) Remove the connector (1 pc.) from the IOD2 PCB.
2) Remove the outer plastic C ring from the shaft.
3) Pull out the fuser clutch from the shaft.
4.1.5 Drum Cleaner Clutch (FBCL)
1) Remove the connector (1 pc.) from the IOD2 PCB.
2) Remove the outer plastic C ring from the shaft.
3) Pull out the drum cleaner clutch from the shaft.
