3.2.4 Paper Eject
Toner on paper is fused by the heat roller and pressure roller ASSY of the fuser unit. Paper
moves along the outer chute and is ejected into the face-down output tray from the paper eject
roller shaft ASSY with its print side down.

Memo:
When a paper jam is detected near the paper eject actuator, the paper feed/belt cleaner motor
is revolved in the reverse direction to move the gears out of engagement. The paper eject
gears become free, allowing any paper jam to be cleared.

The paper eject actuator detects whether or not paper is ejected from the fuser unit.
