Configuring your printer for a wireless network (For HL-4070CDW)

i Press OK to enable the wirelss LAN interface.

WLAN Enable?

Note

After you enable the wireless LAN interface, the wired LAN interface will be set to Off.

j The printer will search for your network.

Searching SSID

Note

It will take a few tens of seconds to display a list of available SSIDs.

k Select the SSIDs from the list using the + or - button. Press OK to select the SSID.

If the displayed SSID you you selected is instructed in infrastructure mode, go to step o.

If the displayed SSID you you selected is instructed in ad-hoc mode, go to step p.

If you want to add a new SSID, go to step l.

If your access point is set to not broadcast the SSID, you will have to manually add the SSID name. Go to

step l.

l Select <New SSID> using the + or - button, and press OK. Go to step m

Select SSID&Set

m Enter a new SSID using the + or - button. Press OK. Go to step n.

SSID:

n Using the + or - button, select Infrastructure when instructed. Press OK. Go to step o.

If you select Ad-hoc, go to step p.
