1.3.15 Fine adjustment of scan start/end positions (Function code: 54)
<Function>
This function is used to adjust the scan start/end positions on the ADF.
<Operating Procedure>
(1) Press the [5] and [4] buttons in this order in the initial state of the maintenance mode.
"SCAN START ADJ." appears on the LCD.
(2) After two seconds, "SUB" appears. Press the [OK] button. The present setting is
displayed on the LCD. ("0" is the default.)
(3) Press the [ ] button to increase the value or the [ ] button to decrease the value to
adjust the setting in the range of +50 and -50.
When the [Stop/Exit] button is pressed, the machine beeps for one second and returns
to the initial state of the maintenance mode without changing the setting.
(4) When the desired value is set, press the [OK] button. "ACCEPTED" appears on the
LCD.
(5) When adjustment is completed, press the [Stop/Exit] button. The machine beeps for one
second and returns to the initial state of the maintenance mode.
