SYMBOL FUNCTION
In addition to the letters, symbols and numerals on the key tops, there are 46 addi-
tional marks available with the symbol function. These symbols are divided into the
four groups shown below.
To type in a symbol:
1 Press . A row of symbols appears in the display.
2 Press or to display different rows of symbols, and press or
until the desired symbol flashes.
3 Press . The symbol appears in the text.

To type in a series of symbols, hold down before pressing .
Then, continue adding symbols by selecting them as explained in steps
2
and

, and holding down while pressing . Press just
after selecting the last symbol in the series.
