How can I connect my printer wirelessly?
You can use the following methods to connect your printer wirelessly.
There is a WLAN access point/router: infrastructure mode
1. Wireless configuration temporarily using a USB cable (recommended)

2. One-push configuration using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup™)
For the connection method, see "Establishing a wireless network connection using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup™)" of the FAQ: "How do I connect the printer to my computer via Wi-Fi®?".
When connecting wirelessly using a WLAN access point/router, confirm the SSID and password of the WLAN access point/router beforehand.
There is no WLAN access point/router
1. Establishing a wireless network connection using Wireless Direct
From mobile devices

When connecting using Wireless Direct, you cannot connect the printer to multiple mobile devices at the same time.
2. Establishing a wireless network connection using the Ad-hoc mode
For the connection method, see “Establishing a wireless network connection using the Ad-hoc mode” of the FAQ: "How do I connect the printer to my computer via Wi-Fi®?".
When connecting wirelessly using a WLAN access point/router, Wireless Direct can be used, but it cannot be used at the same time as the Ad-hoc mode.
To confirm whether there is a WLAN access point/router or to confirm the SSID and password, contact your system administrator.
