STEERING HANDLE
Removal
Remove the STBD side cover. Refer to Side
Cover Removal and Installation on p. 177.
Loosen throttle cable lock nuts.
Remove throttle cables from throttle drum and
cable bracket.
Disconnect emergency stop switch wire.
Remove two screws and tiller handle cover.
Remove tiller handle and throttle cable assembly.
Remove two screws and handle bracket.
WARNING
To avoid accidental starting of engine
while servicing, twist and remove all spark
plug leads.
