DISASSEMBLY
Turn reel clockwise to release the tension in the
recoil spring.
Remove screw and friction plate, with friction
spring.
Remove the reel.
Remove the e-ring, ratchet (pawl), ratchet guide,
and return spring.
Remove the recoil spring.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove the recoil spring
unless replacement is necessary. It should be
visually inspected in its assembled position.
