3.6.1. Locking the Attenuator

" The procedure for locking the attenuator is as follows:
1 . Unscrew and remove the microphone and adaptor.
2 . Remove the screws which secure the front case of the instrument.(See Fig. 3.1 .).

3. Lift off the cover plate and spacing washer.
4. Remove the green front case of the instrument . Note that the "+ 10 dB" button fits
loosely into this case and that it could be lost unless due care is taken at this stage.
