This
is
the
main power switch
of
the
meter. It also
determines
which
meter response
is
obtained:
"Off"
"Batt.
( Rec.)"
"Slow"

All instrument power switched off.
In
all
other
positions
of
the
METER SWITCH
the
light POWER flashes.
Battery check position - a meter scale deflection should
be
obtained. If
the
deflection
is
below
the
red area
of
the
"Bat-
tery"
scale, renew
the
batteries as described
at
the
end
of
sec-
tion 2.1.
Provides
the
Slow meter characteristic specified in IEC Publica-
tion
179.
