The
accelerometers can be used
uncooled
to
a working temperature up
to
400°C
(Type 4345).
They
are all
of a waterproof, sealed construction which will withstand operation under
severe environmental conditions. Further details
of
the
accelerometer types
available are given
in
the
B & K Product Data leaflets and
the
Accelerometer
instruction manual.
Type
numbers currently available are 4332,
4333,
4334,
4335,4338,4339,4340,4343,4344,4345,8301,8302,8303,8304,8305,
8306,8307.
A very extensive calibration and stabilizing procedure has been under-
taken
to
ensure completely predictable performance and stable operation.
On a calibration
chart
delivered with each accelerometer
is
given its
individual:
Voltage sensitivity
Capacitance
Charge sensitivity
Full frequency response curve
Resonance frequency
Maximum transverse sensitivity
Variation of sensitivity with temperature
Variation of capacitance with temperature
They
may be delivered
in
sets containing
one
accelerometer with cable,
magnetic clamp, screws, adaptor plug
JP
0028,
cementing stud, probes, wax,
and
tap
for fastening, or
in
packages containing 5 accelerometers and 5
cables.
