2.4 Choosing the Language
The 2237 Controller is fluent in five languages. Use the pro-
cedure below to choose the language used in the instrument’s
display screen.
1. If the sound level meter is on, then press to switch
it off.
2. While the instrument is off, press and hold it down.
3. While holding , press .
4. Release both buttons. The instrument does a self-test as
usual and then displays the Set-up Language window.
5. Press the and/or keys until your preferred lan-
guage appears in the window. The choices are (in order):
● English
● Francais
● Deutsch
● Italiano
● Espanol
6. Press or to choose the language and proceed to
the Measurement Window.
