3.4.3 Setting the Measurement Time
The 2237 Controller can be set to measure for a fixed amount
of time. When the set time has elapsed, measurement is
stopped automatically and the results are stored in the next
available record (except when the off (manual) setting is
used).
There are 10 preset time settings available:
Off (manual) 8 min
10 s 10 min
30 s 30 min
1 min 1h
5 min 8h
If the preset time is set to Off (manual), then the instrument
will continue measuring until you press . Also, results
will not be saved automatically. For instructions on how to
save results from a manually timed measurement, refer to
section 4.1.1.
To begin a measurement, regardless of the preset time set-
ting, simply switch on the instrument by pressing . If the
instrument is already switched on but not measuring, then
press to begin measuring.
To interrupt a preset-timed measurement in progress, press
. Note that the results will not be saved to a record in
this case. For instructions on how to save results from a
manually stopped measurement, refer to section 4.1.1.
