7.2 Measurement Range Flow Chart
Three measurement ranges exist. It is important to select a
measurement range that is appropriate to your measuring
environment; the instrument must be sensitive enough to
measure the quietest relevant sounds, yet should never be
overloaded. You are only able to change the measurement
range while the instrument is not measuring. To set the
measurement range, press to step through the available
options as detailed in the flowchart below (the measurement
range is shown at the top of each screen). Refer to section
3.4.1 for more information.
