4.2.1 To Make a Print
If you are using a portable printer, you will get the best results
by printing each set of measurements immediately after you
have taken them. If you want to save your measurements as
records, then it is best to download the records to a computer
and print from a spreadsheet program. Otherwise they may
not be printed correctly.
To connect the sound level meter to a serial printer, you must
use Brüel & Kjær cable AO 1442. Contact your Brüel & Kjær rep-
resentative if you do not have one.
To print measurement results:
1. If you have already taken the measurement you wish to
print, do not turn off the sound level meter. If you do, your
results will be erased.
2. Connect one end of a Cable AO 1442 to the serial port on
the back of the sound level meter, using the screws to
secure it.
