2.1.4 The Back-up Battery
The analyzer has a back-up battery for running the clock, even
when the analyzer is switched off or the main batteries are
removed.
The back-up battery is automatically charged when there are
batteries in the analyzer. It is fully charged upon delivery from
the factory. Fully charged, the back-up battery runs the clock
for about three months (typically at room temperature).
If the back-up battery is flat, the next time you insert fresh
batteries into the analyzer it will automatically switch on and
boot up. You will be warned that the date and time needs to
be re-entered.
2.1.5 Checking the Batteries
You can check the status of the main batteries and set a
“battery low” warning level (the alert level).
