2.1.6 How to Make the Batteries Last Longer
You can reduce the analyzer’s power consumption through the
settings of various power saving features as well as by setting
unused Auxiliary outputs to off.
Back-light On Time
The time from the last key push until the back light (see
section 2.5) automatically switches off.
Power-off Delay Time
The time from the last activity until the analyzer automatically
switches off (see section 2.2). An activity is a key push, meas-
urement or any communication via the serial interface (com-
puter or printer).
Setting the Power Savings
1. With the Set-up menu on the display, press the
<Power
Savings
> soft key.
The Power Savings menu appears (see Fig.2.3).
