Off
A “normal” off state where only the clock runs (powered by
the back-up battery). Changing from Off to On requires a sys-
tem boot up and takes approximately 30s.
2.2.2 Switching On
Press the hard key.
The analyzer boots up and tests itself. The default menu of
the application software last used (see the relevant software’s
user manual) appears on the display after approx 30s.
2.2.3 Switching Off
Each application software has its own shut down routine which
ensures that no measurement data is lost and that the analyzer
returns to the correct display when switched on again.
Switching Off
1. Press the hard key.
The Power Off menu appears.
2. To go directly to the Off state, press the hard key
while the Power Off menu is shown.
To cancel the shut down routine, press the
<Cancel> soft
key. The analyzer returns to the previous display.
2.3 Finding Your Way Around the Menus
Modular Precision Sound Analyzer Type2260 is menu-based.
Menu overviews for the platform are shown in the fold-outs
in Chapter 9. Menu overviews for the application software are
shown in the fold-outs in the relevant software’s manual. Each
menu is standardized and makes the best use of the space on
the display (see also Chapter 1).
