Most menus are linked together within these modes in a tree
structure (see Chapter 9 and the relevant application soft-
ware’s user manual).
Independent Menus
When you press certain hard keys (for example, ), the
analyzer goes directly to the particular menu. In other words,
these menus are independent of the operating modes. Once
you have completed what you are doing in this menu, the
analyzer returns to the menu you were last in before going to
this independent menu.
Changing the Mode
To change mode, press the relevant hard key (see Fold Out).
The analyzer goes directly to the menu last displayed in this
mode.
Changing the Menu
To change menu, press the relevant soft key connected to the
menu (see Chapter 9 and the relevant application software’s
user manual). To return to the menu above the current menu,
press the relevant
<Menu> or <OK> soft key.
Some menus contain more than one page of soft keys. To select
another page, use
the and hard keys.
Moving the Field Selector
To move the field selector, which highlights the current
parameter, use the
, , and hard keys.
Changing the Selected Parameter
To change the setting of the current parameter, use the
<> and <> soft keys.
