as installing applications, you can also choose which applica-
tion you want to uninstall. Choosing uninstall will delete the
application software from the internal disk, (only the program
will be deleted – the data and/or set-ups will remain).
Type2260 registers the application number and version
number – allowing you to re-install the software later as de-
scribed in section 3.2.3, for updating application software.
Note: An uninstalled application cannot be used in another
Type2260.
3.3 Setting the System Clock
3.3.1 Introduction
Modular Precision Sound Analyzer Type2260 has its own clock
which is powered by the back-up battery (see section 2.1.4).
If the back-up battery is exhausted, the clock will revert to its
default factory setting of 1980 JAN 01 00:00:00.
The clock is used to mark measurement data files (see section
4.2.3), ensure the correct running of the elapsed-time timer
used in measurements and operate the currently activated
timers (see section 3.4).
3.3.2 How to Change the Date and Time
1. Press the hard key to select the System menu (see
Fig.3.1).
2. Press the <Clock> soft key.
The Clock menu appears (see Fig.3.5).
3. Select and change each part of the date and time you want
to change.
