User Manual
● Select a pre-selected application software
● Install a pre-selected set-up
● Start a given measurement routine a preset number of
times
● Switch the analyzer off
During any timer-initiated measurement, the timer symbol
replaces either or in the status line at the top of the
display.
You can set up more than one timer at a time so that, when
finished with the first measurement sequence, the analyzer
can automatically start another. The timers you set up can
use any installed application software and any stored set-up
you want.
The maximum number of timers you can have is the total of
the maximum number of timers for each application software
installed. The sound analysis software, for example, has 9 tim-
ers.
See the relevant application software’s user manual for more
details of how to set up a timer to control a measurement
sequence using that application software.
3.4.2 Checking to see Which Timers are Set
1. Press the hard key to select the System menu (see
Fig.3.1).
2. Press the <Timers> soft key to get the Timers menu (see
Fig.3.6).
The menu shows the timer which is the first to be acti-
vated by the clock together with:
● How many timers are currently activated
● Which application software will be used
● Which stored set-up will be used
