4.1 Introduction
This chapter tells you how to manage your files containing
your measurement and set-up data.
4.2 How Your Data is Stored and
Organised
4.2.1 File Structure
Every time you install application software (see section 3.2),
new directories are added (see Fig.4.1). Most of this file struc-
ture is fixed and can be changed only to include extra direc-
tories. The MEAS1 to MEAS9 directories can, however, be
deleted if empty (see section 4.5).
4.2.2 Contents of the Internal Disk’s Directories
ROOT
Must not be used for storing measurement data files.
DATA
Contains all your stored measurement data files (see section
4.2.3). This directory cannot be deleted. Measurement data
directories can be created under it.
DATA\MEAS#
*
Default directories for containing measurement data files. The
9 MEAS# directories can be deleted if empty.
SET-UP
Contains all your stored set-up data files (see section 4.2.3).
This directory cannot be deleted.
