SOFTWARE\SYSTEM
Contains the system software. This directory cannot be delet-
ed.
SOFTWARE\SYSTEM\SETTINGS
Contains system program settings which are not application
dependent (such as printer settings, calibration, status of tim-
ers etc.) Referred to when switching the analyzer on or starting
a new application. This directory cannot be deleted.
Note: If you delete the files in this directory and reboot the
analyzer (see section 2.7), it will start up with the default
settings.
SOFTWARE\BZ72##
Contains the application software. Referred to when switching
the analyzer on, if the current application software is BZ72##,
or when starting this application software.
SOFTWARE\BZ72##\SETTINGS
Contains settings which are application dependent (such as
measurement and display set-ups) Referred to when switching
the analyzer on, if the current application software is BZ72##,
or when starting this application software.
Note: If you delete the files in this directory and reboot the
analyzer (see section 2.7), it will start up with the default
settings.

The analyzer uses two types of data files:
Measurement Data Files
Set-up Data Files
Measurement Data Files
Contain measurement results including information about the
measurement set-up (for example, start date and time, param-
eters measured, control parameters). The information con-
