The interfaces of the analyzer and the device (for example,
printer or computer) to which it is connected via the Serial
Interface socket must have the same set-up to enable them
to communicate without losing or corrupting data.
The following output parameters can be set in most of the
applications (see the relevant application software's user man-
ual for the exact possibilities)
Type
The following types of output are available:
● B&K2322: For Brüel&Kjær Portable Printer Type
2322
● IBMPro: For an IBM Proprinter or compatible serial
printer
● Spread Sheet: For inclusion in a spread sheet package in
a PC
The selected type of output determines which other output
parameters are available to be set. Those not relevant are not
shown on the display and cannot be changed.
Format
The following output formats are available for the printers:
● Table: A tabular format
● Screen Dump: A format where the contents of the display
are dumped to the printer. This is suitable
for printing graphs seen on the display.
