syntax for entering string data. The length in characters of a fixed length string data
is given in parentheses after the data type name.
Example:

4.3 Information Protocol
4.3.1 Introduction
Each command or query described in this manual has a name, or Header. The
header can be thought of as a variable name, and the value or option it is assigned
is the parameter value which the amplifier actually uses to carry out the specified
operation. See Fig.4.8.
4.3.2 Header
The Header command allows you to specify how the response messages are to be
sent from the amplifier:
OFF If you specify OFF, no header will be returned to you by the am-
plifier as a query response.
