2.3.3 Electrical Test
This test verifies the transducer only.
Process:
1) Disconnect the cable of the transducer.
2) Dismount the transducer.
3) Connect the transducer to the CCLD Power Supply cable:
a) For Type 4511-W-006 Monoaxial, use CCLD Power Supply WB-1372 and the cable supplied with it.
b) For Type 4524-W.001 - Triaxial, use CCLD Power Supply WB-1453 and the cable supplied with it.
4) Press the switch in battery position. Read the level indicated on the meter: the minimum is: 23 V
5) Press the switch in bias position. Read the level indicated by the meter: it must be between 12 V +1 V and 12V –2 V:
A high bias voltage (near the battery voltage) or low bias voltages indicate a defective transducer.
