3. Office preparation before site visit.
3.1 Checking date and time and calibrating the 2250-M:
3.1.1 Attach the microphone extension cable to the small case and then attach the microphone and
preamplifier assembly.
3.1.2 Switch on the 2250-M by pressing
(On/Off).
3.1.3 Assuming the instrument was being used in the “MATRON-Light” configuration when it
was last used, the following screen should appear:
3.1.4 Check to see the results are to be stored to either an SD- or CF-memory card by observing
the second line like this:
. If not then follow instructions 2.2.10 to
2.2.14.
3.1.5 Check the date and time by tapping the current time shown at the bottom right-hand corner
of the display:
3.1.6 Tap on that time and check the current date and time from the pop-up screen:
Adjust if necessary.
