3.1 Dismantling Kit WZ0065

To dismantle Type 2238 completely, you will need Dismantling Kit WZ0065. This kit
contains three “keys”. One key is for removing the LEMO Connectors (item 14 in
Fig.5.1), one is for removing the Special Nut (item 2) and one for removing the “Ext.
Power” connector (item 12 in Fig. 5.1). WZ 0065 is also used with Types 2236, 2237
and 2260.
3.2 Dismantling
Type 2238 is quite simple to dismantle (all item numbers refer to Fig.3.1).
1. Switch Off Type 2238.
2. Take ESD precautions.
3. Remove all batteries from the compartment.
4. Remove the ZC0030 preamplifier (item 36).
5. Unscrew the two screws (item 10).
6. Remove the Special Nut (item 2), using one of the keys in Key Set WZ0065 (see
Fig.3.2)
