A.2 Connection of Synchronization Cables
IDA BNT
Using the IDA BNT synchronization you need two cables such as AO-0158, a balanced
cable fitted with BNT connectors.
Connect the Sync. Out and the Clock Out on the master to the Sync. In and Clock In. on the
second frame as shown in Fig.A.2.
The switch marked Int.-Ext. must be in position Int. on the master and Ext. on the second
frame.

When connecting a third frame, connect the Clock and the Sync. Out signals from the
second frame to the Clock and Sync. Input on the third frame. The switch on the third frame
must be in position Ext.
The cables used for the Clock and the Sync. Signals must be triaxial cables AO-0158 or
equivalent. The cables should have the same length; the maximum length is 100 m.
Next, connect the LAN cables using a switch as described in section 2.3.1.
