3.2 Analog Hardware Test
When starting up your PULSE system after configuring the hardware, you can proceed as
follows:
1) Connect the front-end to the LAN connection in the PC (see Chapter 2).
2) Power up the front-end.
3) Power up the PC.
4) Run Start, Programs, PULSE, Utilities, Analog Hardware Selftest.

5) Click Detect Front-end.
Shortly after, the modules will appear in the list. Check the modules you want to test
and select the test parameters. For descriptions of the various parameters and general
help, click Help, Help.
Note: If you check I
nternal cabling, the generator in the module is connected to the
input, by internal switches and you can run the test with transducers still connected to
the module.
