Data Acquisition Units
5.1 Portable PULSE Type 3560-B
Type 3560-B front-ends comprise a battery/DC-powered 5-channel data acquisition unit. The
front-end comes in several versions, as listed in Table 4.1. The front-end is connected to the
PC via the LAN Interface located on the front panel.

5.1.1 Power Supply
Portable Data Acquisition System Type 3560-B can be powered by one or two Nickel-Metal
Hydride batteries (available separately, Brüel & Kjær order no. QB-0048) or from a 10 –
32 V DC power supply. It can also be powered using the 100 – 240 V AC Mains to DC
power supply/battery charger ZG-0429, which is provided with Type 3560-B.
The working time for continuous operation with two batteries is 5 hours.
