5.3.4 DC Output
To provide power for accessories such as a LAN switch or wireless LAN, the unit is provided
with a 5 ± 0.5 and 12 ± 1.0 V DC output (LEMO FGG.00.302 connector) each providing up
to 400 mA (1 A fused) – see Fig.5.3. Cables for these accessories must be ordered separately.
5.4 Multichannel PULSE Type 3560-E
Data Acquisition Systems employing a Type 3560-E front-end comprise a 19 Mounting
Rack WU-0516, which can contain ten modules. One of these must be the DC Power
Supply Unit Type 2826, and one must be a Controller Module. The remaining eight modules
can be Input/Output modules. See Table 4.1 for information on suitable modules.

A 19 Fan Unit, UH-1037, is required for cooling and, if you are using more than one
frame, an Air Guide EA-0540 is also used beneath the frames (Fig.5.10). Using Air Guide
EA-0540, the air intake is on the front of the frames and the outlet at the back.
The front-end is connected to the PC via the LAN Interface located in the Controller Module.
5.4.1 Configuration
Data Acquisition System Type 3560-E is always configured at Brüel & Kjær before delivery.
