8 Example measurement - Overalls
The Overalls module allows you to analyze the overall condi-
tion of a machine and compare it to the limit values establis-
hed by DIN ISO 10816 or the manufacturer’s data and
empirical values, for example. A single overall can provide in-
formation on the general condition of a machine, enabling a
basic condition assessment to be carried out easily and effici-
ently. In addition to overalls for the absolute bearing vibration
and the relative shaft vibration, overalls for assessing the rol-
ling-element bearing condition (BCUp, ECUp) can also be
evaluated.
Up to four measuring channels plus a speed reference are
available. Each measuring channel has two digital signal pro-
cessing paths A and B, allowing several measurements to be
performed in parallel.
The Overalls module also supports measurement of the ma-
chine shaft speed and recording of overalls as a function of
speed or time.
