Height check
u If you have a motorized Z-stage, proceed as follows for height check:
1. Perform a scan of the Z-motor and move the chamber to the position of maximum
intensity.
u If you do not have a motorized Z-stage, proceed as follows for height check:
1. Open the ratemeter (COMMANDER | Commander drop-down menu | Ratemeter)
and open the shutter.
2. Mark the count rate or save it by clicking the Save as reference button.
3. Close the shutter, move the chamber using the manual adjustment screw and check
the count rate again.
4. Repeat until the maximum intensity has been found.
NOTE: If no intensity is found, make sure that the chamber rotation is not too far off
from the beam direction.
Alignment - Continuation
1. Perform a rocking curve scan from -2° to 2°, with a 0.01° step size.
