10.1 Vacuum Equipment
10.1.1 Programming of the Edwards High Vacuum Stage
The programming was done at Bruker already. If necessary use the following procedure to
program Edwards TIC controller, S/W issue: D39700640R. All settings will be reset by this
procedure!
Resetting the TIC to factory defaults:
1. Press once Menu
2. Press 8 times Down → Service Information
3. Press once Select
4. Press 9 times Down → Reset TIC Default
5. Press once Select → Reset
Programming the TIC for automatic start and stop of the TMP and Backing pump:
Proceeding after resetting to factory defaults, S/W issue: D39700640R
1. Press twice Down → WRG New ID
2. Press once Select → WRG and a pressure are indicated
3. Press twice Up → Turbo Off
4. Press once Select → Ramp up timer
5. Press 4 times Down → System On Setup
6. Press twice Select → Turbo No
7. Press once Down → Turbo Yes
