3 Unscrew the Teflon-made counter nuts from
the 2 detector hoods.
i The Teflon-made counter nuts are only
available if you use a liquid nitrogen-
cooled detector.

• Use a cross-head screwdriver (size: PH2)
and rotate the 4 screws of the top lid coun
-
terclockwise.
➣ You have to rotate over the snap-in resis-
tance. Then, the screw is pushed
upwards, and you can loosen it.
• Carefully lift off the sample compartment
cover.
5 Use a flat-tip screwdriver to loosen the two
knurled thumb screws, located on the bottom
of the trough.
6 Completely remove the trough out of the sam-
ple compartment.
7 Repeat step 1 to remove the cover of the detector and interferometer block.
