Tailgate Operation (Wagon)
The tailgate can be opened like a regular door or like a
drop-gate.
The tailgate and tailgate window must first be unlocked.
The tailgate is unlocked by using the power door lock
controls, the oval key in the lock or the Remote Keyless
Entry
System if you have it.
Once the tailgate has been
unlocked, you can unlatch
the tailgate window by
pushing the key cylinder
button all the way in. Then,
raise the window.
To open the tailgate like a regular door, pull up on the
handle that is near the end
of
the tailgate, on the
passenger’s side.
