WARNING
In case of water ingression into the vehicle (e.g. wet carpet/vehicle immersed in water)
or vehicle damaged to any extent due to water ingression, do not start the vehicle;
otherwise, the air bag may deploy, causing severe injury or even life threat.
Driver Air Bag and Front Passenger Air Bag (If Any)
If the vehicle you select is equipped with a driver air bag and a front passenger air bag (if
any), when the ECU suffers a medium to severe frontal collision while the vehicle is
travelling and triggering conditions of air bag system are met, the air bags will deploy to
assist in protecting your and the front passenger's heads and chests to reduce the degree
of injury. In the following conditions, contact a BYD authorised service provider:
 The air bag cover (highlighted part in the
figure) is broken, split or otherwise
damaged.
 Air bags have fully been inflated.
