The key No. is shown on the number plate. Store
the number plate properly and do not place it in the
vehicle.
If your key is lost or you need a spare key, you may
ask a BYD authorised service provider to reproduce
the key with the key number plate.
BYD recommends that you remember the key No.
and store the number plate in a secure place.
To use the mechanical key in the electronic intelligent
key, pull down the release switch and take out the
mechanical key as shown in the figure. Be sure to
replace the mechanical key after using it.
Electronic intelligent key
The remote control system (electronic intelligent key) is used to lock / unlock all doors
within a range of 1m from doors, and to realize accessory functions.
When operating any button, press it slowly and firmly.
If the electronic intelligent key fails to operate within the normal range or the indicator
on the key is dim or out of work:
Check if any radio station or radio transmitter of an airport is nearby interfering
with the normal operation of the electronic intelligent key.
The battery may be dead. In this case, contact a BYD authorised service provider
to replace the battery.
