If your electronic intelligent key is lost, contact a BYD authorised service provider to
prevent your vehicle from being stolen or any other unexpected accidents.
You may register standby keys for one vehicle. For details, please contact a BYD
authorised service provider.
The electronic intelligent key is an electronic component. Please observe the following
instructions to prevent damage to the electronic intelligent key:
Do not attach any objects which shield electromagnetic wave signals to the
intelligent key (such as a metal seal).
Do not use the intelligent key to strike other objects.
Do not place the intelligent key at a hot place for a long time, such as the
dashboard or front compartment hatch which is in direct sunlight.
Do not immerse the electronic intelligent key in water or clean it in an ultrasonic
washer.
Do not place the electronic intelligent key near to devices radiating
electromagnetic waves, such as mobile phones.
Do not disassemble it.
Locking and unlocking with mechanical key
Insert the key into the lock hole and turn the key.
Unlocking: Turn the key from 1 to 2 clockwise.
Locking: Turn the key from 3 to 4
counterclockwise.
