Method to Start Motor
Method to start motor normally
 Confirm the electronic intelligent key is in the
vehicle (carried personally), as indicated by 1.
 Depress the brake pedal with force, as indicated
by 2.
 After the indicator on START/STOP button turns
green, press the button once to start the vehicle,
as indicated by 3.
CAUTION
For this purpose, press the START/STOP button slowly and hard.
Dead electronic intelligent key battery
 If the vehicle cannot be started by the electronic intelligent key and the indicator on the
intelligent key does not light up, the key battery may have run out. In this case, replace
the electronic intelligent key battery as soon as possible.
 Replace the electronic intelligent key battery.
If the electronic intelligent key battery has run out, contact a BYD authorised service
provider for replacing the battery.
