Front Cross Tra󽗋c Alert
(FCTA) & Front Cross
Tra󽗋c Braking (FCTB)
Front cross tra󽗋c alert (FCTA) and
front cross tra󽗋c braking (FCTB) detects
vehicles crossing the driveway at the
front through millimeter wave radars
on both sides of the front bumper to
alert the driver and engage the brake if
necessary. At low vehicle speeds, when
the system detects a risk of collision with
a vehicle crossing the driveway at the
front, it provides the driver with visual
and audible alerts; in the event of an
impending collision, the vehicle brakes
automatically.
How to Use
To enable or disable FCTA and FCTB,
go to
→ ADAS → Active Safety
from the touchscreen.
When FCTA is activated, the rearview
indicator 󽗊ashes and a chime sounds.
When FCTB is activated,
is
displayed on the instrument cluster
and a chime sounds, with AEB
automatically braking the vehicle.
In the event of FCTA/FCTB malfunction,
is displayed on the instrument
cluster.
