Now, when your transmission is in
P (Park) for an automatic
transmission, or the parking brake
is set for a manual transmission,
and you press one of the memory
buttons, 1 or 2, you will hear a
chime and the seat, power tilt and
telescopic steering column (if
equipped) and mirrors will move
to the preset positions.
You can also use the Driver
Information Center to program
the memory seat, power tilt and
telescopic steering column (if
equipped) and mirrors to adjust to
your chosen positions when you
use the Remote Keyless Entry or
Keyless Access transmitter.
If your vehicle is equipped with
the Remote Keyless Entry
transmitter, the settings may
be recalled when you press the
unlock button on the
transmitter.
If your vehicle is equipped with
the Keyless Access transmitter,
the settings may be recalled
when you open the driver’s
door.

Driver Information Center to
personalize or disable this feature,
see "Feature Customization" under
"Driver Information Center" earlier
in this Section.
Memory recall can be stopped by
pressing any of the following:
power seat controls
power mirror controls
memory buttons
telescopic power tilt wheel
control (if equipped)
If something blocks the seat or
steering column while recalling a
memory position, the feature may
stop working.
1. Remove the obstruction.
2. Press the control for the seat
or steering column for two
seconds to reset the system.
3. Press the memory button
again.
The seat or steering column
should move to the desired
position.
If the system does not operate as
described above, see your dealer
for service.
