Section 1
When the RPM return to
normal operating range, the
fuel supply will return to
normal.
NOTICE
Do not operate the engine with
the tachometer in the shaded
warning area, or engine
damage may occur.
This could lead to costly repairs
not covered by your warranty.
8. Oil Pressure Gage (CTS
Model Only)
The oil pressure gage indicates
the pressure at which oil is
being delivered to the various
parts of the engine requiring
lubrication. Gage readings
which are consistently low
may indicate a lubrication sys-
tem and/or engine malfunc-
tion.
If the Engine Oil Pressure
Warning Light comes on and/
or the OIL PRESSURE LOW --
STOP ENGINE message ap-
pears, you should check the oil
level right away.
See "Engine Oil" in Section 4
for more information.
Also, see "Driver Information
Center Messages" later in this
section for more information.
CAUTION
Do not keep driving with low oil
pressure. Your engine could
overheat and may catch on fire.
You or others could be burned.
Check the oil as soon as
possible and have your vehicle
serviced.
