Problems on the Road

16. Press O (off) or the on/off
button to turn the air
compressor off.
NOTE:
Complete the following steps
quickly.
The tire will not be sealed
and air may leak from the
puncture until the vehicle is
driven and the sealant has
been distributed in the tire.
CAUTION
Be careful when disconnecting
the air compressor. Some
components can get very hot
and could burn you.
17. Remove the air compressor
plug from the accessory
power outlet.
18. Turn the end of the
hose counterclockwise to
disconnect it from the tire
valve stem.
19. Reinstall the cap on the valve
stem.
20. Store the hose in its original
location.
21. Store the air compressor
accessory plug in its original
position.
22. If you were able to inflate the
tire successfully, remove the
maximum speed label (if
equipped) from the sealant
canister.
The maximum speed label
reminds you to drive
cautiously and not to exceed
90 km/h (55 mph) until you
have the damaged tire inspect-
ed and repaired.
